Baseball Season is Upon Us

March 23, 2010

Last Monday night a California baseball player was hit in the head by a line drive in a high school game. Now he is in a medically induced coma because of the metal bat that propelled the ball so fast-130 miles an hour- that Gunnar Sandberg couldn’t get out of the way in time.

Isn’t it time to go back to wooden bats? Metal bats aren’t allowed in pro baseball. They shouldn’t be in kids’ leagues either.
